Girls Night Out

I had a great weekend.  Friday night we went out with David's co-workers and Caitlin was being a social butterfly.  She didn't want to sit in her high chair, she just wanted to walk around.  She loved the fries at the restaurant and really enjoyed drinking from her own cup that they brought over.

Saturday was a day to clean and get ready for going out with the girls.  I organized a night for Sarah.  We went to a Salon called Pinky's Nails & Spa and everyone got a manicure except for me. I got a pedicure.  I worried about Caitlin all night and I was crawling out of my skin because i forgot my telephone and could text David.  I truly tried to enjoy myself but i found myself wondering how Caitlin and David were doing.  I know that David can watch Caitlin but it's funny how I don't want to miss a single moment without them and find myself wanting to hang out with them even though I'm enjoying myself.  After the Spa, we went to dinner.  We went to La Hacienda and had some great mexican food and some good drinks. Or the other way around, who knew by the end of the night.  I wish Sarah the best with her wedding and marriage.  I hope all her expectations about marriage are exceeded.  I know that her brother is the best husband, father but most importantly friend.  My marriage to David has definitely exceeded all my expectations beyond my belief.
Sunday was a day of headaches, cleaning and laundry.  David got to get away for a little while to go watch GI Joe.  I thought Caitlin would go to sleep most of the time he was gone so I could clean and do laundry alot faster but that didn't work out.  Either way I enjoyed my time with Caitlin.  She tried to be a good helper even though she made more of a mess.  Best prize of all was her saying, "mama", giving me a kiss when I would ask her, laughing and babbling none stop.
Monday, was back to the normal schedule. Woke up, dropped off Caitlin at school and fought traffic on my way to work.  Nothing happened at work that was out of the ordinary other than a group of 7 went to lunch to celebrate a co-workers birthday.  Caitlin was so pleased when I picked her up and she just wanted to run around outside with Brooke before we actually left the Daycare.  She is so active and vocal.  I just wish she would actually say some words.  I know that will be one of the most memorable moments when she starts talking.  I'm not sure if I will be able to understand her completely but I'm sure it will be really cute.  We will see...
