Let's try this again....

WOW!!  Time sure flies when you are having fun....  So here is my new attempt to update the blog on a weekly basis.  This weekend was a crazy busy weekend starting on Friday.  It started with a Holiday Party at Mrs. Carley's class (Caitlin's 2nd grade class) they had finger food, cookie decorating, reindeer food and bingo.  It went by fast and this is the first year David has missed it but he was super sick.  Then Emma had her Cricket's Classroom Christmas party.  She wore a super holiday dress and enjoyed her snacks and holiday singing.  Lastly on Friday, we had the Slate Creek Team Holiday Party at Homer and Amanda's Restaurant.  I think everyone enjoyed and we had plenty of food and drinks to enjoy.  The gift exchange was super fun.  Misty gave me a mani and movie tickets.  Saturday started off early but we missed a birthday party first thing in the morning.  We then went to the Nationwide Insurance event in Alamo Ranch.  Lastly, we went to a Christmas Party with Joanne and Anoush's Mother's house.  That was so much fun!  The girls ran around, rode on a train ride, made reindeer treats, decorated cookies, and watched a movie.  Sunday was a little slower but we did go to a birthday party at a trampoline park.  The girls are growing up so fast and I would like to do all the activities that I can with them.  Making memories is my priority and being involved in all they do is what I would like to continue as a tradition.  I remember when my Dad was so interested in what I did in school and my Mom would help me make great memories with my friends.  I hope the girls cherish these memories we are making when they get older.  David and the girls are on Christmas vacation and I will be taking a few days off to spend some time with them.  Hopefully, we get to see the Star Wars Movie.  David really wants to see it.
