Christmas 2012

Well obviously it's been a while since I've written anything but I needed to do something to the blog to try to catch up.  Alot has happened but I won't even attempt to recap everything now.  Life is great with the girls.  They are growing up so fast.  We just had Christmas and it was awesome to see their reactions.  I wish I was feeling better the days leading up to Christmas and during the holiday but at least I was able to see their little faces.  I don't think Caitlin could understand all the emotions she felt when she saw all the presents and I wonder if she was confused as to why she received so many presents.  Emma was so funny, all she could say was "wow".  Funny how things change.... Christmas has always been special with David since it's his favorite holiday but now that Caitlin and Emma are more alert to things he has really stepped it up some more.  He put so much detail into this Christmas that he put lights outside the house, placed the village on the tv console with such care and even placed items in their stockings just to mention a few of the details.  He got the elve on the shelve which Cailtin named "Sasha" and made sure Sasha did her job in reporting to Santa Claus every night.  Those details and the sweetness he has makes me fall in love with him all over again.  Caitlin loved Sasha so much that she told me today that she missed her and she was going to write a note to Santa to let Sasha know how much she missed her.  Emma is the funniest and cutiest little girl.  She will repeat everything her sister says and will stand firm with her sister when Caitlin has any objections.  But don't have sister use her toys because that will cause war.  Now, with that being said, she's still very sharing with sister if sister asks nicely. :)   I also love, love, love the way Emma says, "ohhh" when she gets a response to her question or will ask "mommy ok?".  Both girls are so caring and have huge hearts and have lots of love to give, i hope that never changes.  Here is a picture of the girls during the Fall season and I hope to find something during the Christmas weekend which would be a little more updated.  I hope everyone had a great Christmas Holiday!
